Item Description:
A vintage military water bottle used by Japanese soldiers during World War II, dating back to 1942 (Showa 17). The bottom of the bottle features an engraved “陸” mark, signifying its association with the Japanese army (陸軍). This metal canteen is a classic example of the utilitarian design used by soldiers during the war, reflecting the simplicity and functionality required in military gear.

The original cork stopper was missing, and the owner reported that he had used this self-made wooden stopper until the end of the war.

The exterior of the bottle shows age-appropriate wear, including scratches and dents, and the strap has cuts from wear, adding to the historical authenticity of the bottle.This piece is a rare find for collectors of military memorabilia or those interested in World War II artifacts.
