Not as well-known as Images à la sauvette / The Decisive Moment, but quite possibly Cartier-Bresson's most satisfying book. All of the highlights from his career, incl. the ones that made the 52 book a classic, plus a good many more. A total of 210 images, spanning 1932-1968. Gorgeously printed, a quality of b/w printing that no longer exists. First edition, hardcover in linen, with the original plastic dustcover.
Beautifully preserved. A small piece of plastic of the dustcover is missing at the back, see last images, otherwise in superb condition. Very rare, especially in this condition, highly recommended. The kind of photobook that if you could have only one, it might well be this one.
