The "500 TYPE EVA" is a Shinkansen modeled after the world of Evangelion. This unique 500-series Shinkansen was part of the Evangelion Shinkansen Project and operated on the Sanyo Shinkansen line between Shin-Osaka and Hakata until March 2017.

Now, this iconic train is available as a Plarail set! The Plarail faithfully reproduces the design of the "500 TYPE EVA" in a 3-car formation. The lead car is motorized and features a 2-speed setting. When the switch is turned off, it can also be pushed by hand.

The lead car, middle car, and tail car can be detached and reconnected. Additionally, when the switch is on, the headlights of the lead car light up, adding to the realism.
