Medieval Gold Cross Pendant with Punched Decoration
Circa 11th century AD
This lovely gold cross pendant features short, rounded arms ending in bulbous finials, creating a balanced and symmetrical design. At the junction of the arms lies a square-shaped box, delicately adorned with punched triangular motifs, each containing three raised dots. A small suspension loop at the top allows the piece to be worn.
