STORIA/PANORAMICA
La Citroën Mehari era una piccola autovettura per il tempo libero realizzata in ABS, appartenente alla tipologia d'auto conosciuta anche come "spiaggina". Utilizzava il pianale e la meccanica della 2CV. Ci sono due serie, la prima con "musetto piccolo" e la seconda con il frontale ridisegnato e calandra allargata.

Questa prima serie è particolarmente interessante perchè conserva il motore originale e lo stile originario dell'auto. Consegnata nuova in Italia, veniva utilizzata per i periodi estivi tuttavia negli ultimi anni non è mai stata utilizzata riposando in garage.

ESTERNO
La carrozzeria è l'originale Citroen di fabbrica,  con normali segni e ritocchi e riparazioni nel tempo di una vettura mai restaurata. E' nel colore "AC 808 beige kalahari". Alcuni particolari sono nuovi come le borchie e fanalini. I fondi del veicolo sono solidi, sia nella parte anteriore che dei sedili posteriori (vedi foto).

Il sottoscocca e il telaio sono in generali buone condizioni, originali.

INTERNO
Gli interni sono in buone condizioni,  è dotata della panchetta posteriore optional ed è omologata 4 posti sulla carta di circolazione. I tappeti in gomma sono nuovi, la cappotta è stata appena installata nuova.

MECCANICA
Meccanicamente il motore è originale e funzionante e l'auto si accende e si guida su area privata,  il controllo tecnico è stato appena superato senza difetti riscontrati, tuttavia una generale normale manutenzione è consigliata prima dell'utilizzo e collaudo. I pneumatici sono appena stati installati nuovi.

Questa versione è considerata il vero disegno originale della Mehari ed è sempre più ricercata dai collezionisti, soprattutto con il motore AK2 di fabbrica originale è un veicolo da collezione.
