Work of art large square serving platter with applied roses, buds and greenery branch handles, produced by Herend - “Chinese Bouquet Apponyi Green” Collection, extremely rare, in excellent to pristine condition.
Entirely hand painted in green and gold colour, all around gold trimmed, along with the green “Fleurs des Indes” flowers, are making a perfect choice for the most pretentious table.
The origin of the pattern is associated with Count Albert Apponyi, for whom this simplified version of “Fleurs des Indes “ was first prepared in the 1930’s years.
This platter is in excellent to pristine condition, marked with Herend blue shield mark and numbered, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of the description.
