A set of three elegant hand crafted Louis XVI style openwork cellars for salt and pepper by Pedro Durán. Made of solid '925 silver and cobalt glass. Spain, 2nd half of the 20th century. Rare!

Table set consisting of:
- oval salt cellar with a cover;
- oval salt cellar with a spoon;
- round salt cellar

All with openwork silver bases in neoclassical style, supported on four canelled feet, each with rosette in top part, decorated with garlands with flowers. Deep blue cobalt glass bowls mounted in each base. Oval convex cover with finial modelled as an angel playing the violin.

Pedro Durán founded silverware manufactory in late 19th century. He died in 1938 the production was continued by his four children: Carlos, Manuel, Roberto and Santiago. In 1962 they built a new factory of 15,000 m2 and opened a jewelry store in Madrid. The silverware company was closed in early 21st century.

Hallmarks:
- engraved 'Pedro Duran': maker's mark with stamped vase;
- 925: silver purity;
- TvR with '+' and 'ZT' - unrecognized marks;
- on cover and spoon also: '925 STERLING'
