The scroll wheel was evidently broken previously, yet the seller failed to inform the buyer, which is outrageously concealing the defect.

Seller's response

Dear Buyer I'm sorry for not delivering your scroll in perfect condition this time. Could you please send the photos of the broken parts? We will do our best to solve this including the way to attach it. As you can see in the described photos, the roller ends were attached correctly, we always check them before packing if it is not broken or taken off. However, the roller ends are sometimes taken off or damaged during overseas transit because of the vibration. We always pack them strongly, but sadly it happens rarely. Please be assured that we will also talk to the shipping carrier for compensation. Sincerely Reiwa Antiques
