Beautiful Engraved Mother of Pearl on a custom stand - Birds of Paradise motif - Sea shell - Pinctada Maxima (No Reserve Price)

Completely engraved large mother of pearl shell, very intricate. The carving into the shell is of a Birds of Paradise. The shell was engraved by a Balinese artisan, who has mastered the art of carving. The artisan is one of very few who can carve at this level. He is truly one of the best and most renowned in this niche field. The shell comes with a wooden stand.
