The Dutch painter Hans Mijnsbergen was born in 1945 in Goes. Signs his work with 'Mijnsbergen',
he paints many romantic cityscapes, (winter) landscapes, still lifes and certainly beach views, sometimes in the style of the Hague School. Birds and other animals are also a favorite subject for him. He often finds these around the house, or somewhere on location. He makes 'his own work', but also sometimes uses historical paintings as examples. In order to optimally express his painting qualities, Mijnsbergen always works on wooden panels.
