Walter Dahn (1954) Animal, 1995 Original Offset lithograph on glazed paper. Hand-signed lower margin. Numbered 12/100, from the deluxe edition. Dimensions : +Size of the sheet: 65 x 48 cm / 25,5 x 18,8 in. +Size of the image: 40 x 20 cm / 15.7 x 7.8 in. Condition: In very good condition, with some soft handling creases at the edges. Image very clean otherwise, with bright and vivid colors. Please note that the last picture is a simulation only, the artwork is NOT framed. Issued from the 1995 portfolio "Lindencorso Kunstprojekt", which included 17 Original Offset lithographs. "Lindencorso" referred to the new Franco-German commercial and cultural center in Berlin of the same name. On the initiative of the Cologne artist Stefan Szczesny, 9 French and 9 German artists designed a collection of banners. Each of them temporarily adorned the facades of the scaffolded shell constructions during the building of the center. Once Lindercorso was achieved, the artworks were put to exhibition or for sale. The trial proofs designed for the projects were all printed in Offset Lithographs and compiled in a portfolio, "Lindencorso Kunstprojekt". A deluxe edition of this Art book was printed in 100 copies, where each artwork was hand-signed and numbered. Please note that we only sell this plate, NOT the complete portfolio.
