A very fine old 4/4 violin, labeled Leandro Bisiach della scuola Cremonese fece in Milano 1897 Piazza del Duomo Leandro Bisiach. This instrument is in good condition with some old professional repaired cracks on the top and back. The violin shows a very careful selection of wood in the making. The violin has an excellent straight high grained spruce of the top and one piece back of wavy flamed maple. Rich golden amber varnish shows an amazing wooden choice. Inlaid purfling on top and back. The whole length of the violin is 595 mm and the back 360 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 164 mm; middle bouts: 108 mm; lower bouts: 202 mm. Full size, after Amati. The sound is very good, deep, rich, powerful, suitable for soloist. Shipping by DHL or FedEx is possible and would be claimed according to your personal requirements #fifthavenue
