Immaculate condition, blown and hand-shaped, multi-layered Czech Biedermeier glass cup decorated with gold and enamel painting from the mid-19th century. External opaque opal glass surface with a cobalt blue glass layer with circular backsandings. The side wall is decorated with delicate colorful hand-painted flower ornaments. The upper rim is gilded. Coloured transparent glass with opaque white overlay is one of the main characteristic feature of the Biedermeier art glass pieces.
