Als je het over de unieke jaren 90 iconen hebt is dit absoluut een; de Ford Escort RS2000, en dan niet zo maar een maar de gelimiteerde F1 Edition. Hier hebben we het over nummer 117 van de slechts 500 gebouwd.
De F1 Edition is in 2 versies uitgebracht, beschikbaar in de 1.8 16V (115pk) en de 2.0 16V (150pk). Deze Escort beschikt over de 2.0 16V en is samengesteld in de typerende State Blue metallic lak.
Het leuke van deze RS2000 is dat de “F1 Edition” instaplijsten er nog in zitten, even als op de kofferbak en bouwnummer in de middenconsole (met bijbehorende dashboard lijsten).
Ook alle boekjes zijn bewaard gebleven inclusief het gekentekende document met het ‘117’ bouwnummer.
De staat van de auto.
Technisch:
De aandrijflijn is erg fris. Hij rijdt, stuurt en schakelt goed en de motor loopt mooi, de uitlaat is onlangs nog vernieuwd.
Interieur:
Ook het interieur is erg mooi en heeft minimale gebruikssporen (zelfs de wangen op Recaro stoelen zijn niet versleten).
Carrosserie/Lakwerk:
De carrosserie heeft daarin tegen wat aandacht nodig: de achterste wielranden zijn niet zo mooi meer, in het verleden zijn ze eens hersteld maar dit moet opnieuw aangepakt worden wil je hem weer helemaal net hebben. Ook op de kofferbak begint er roest te ontstaan onder de spoiler. De bodem is wel oke, maar hij heeft wel beginnende roestvorming zoals je kan zien aan de dorpels. Er is nog niet aan de bodem gelast.
Overige informatie:
Een unieke jaren 90 icoon met een toffe historie en voorzien van z’n documenten en type plaatjes.
Absoluut de moeite waard om weer helemaal netjes te maken (of natuurlijk om gewoon lekker in te gaan rijden!)

De auto beschikt over een Nederlands kenteken. Indien de auto buiten Nederland verkocht wordt kunnen we helpen bij alle documenten (zoals een export document) zodat hij geregistreerd kan worden in jouw land. In het geval van export documenten maken hebben we een geldig paspoort nodig (dit kan per foto) om hem over te schrijven en dient de auto voor dit traject betaald te zijn.
