Biedermeier large - sized glass pitcher - ewer with opening metal lid. Blown and hand - crafted, decorated with hand - painted floral ornaments depicting white and golden leaves and flowers. Its special feature is the inner glass surface with many little same- sized convex glass bubbles in it. Attached glass ear handles and hinged lid with thumb presser featuring plantal ornament head to the hinge. Very rare and fancy item presenting variety of glass techniques. Period : 1850 - 1900.
