Published by George Routledge and Sons, limited, London, ca.1890. The book is beautifully bound in publisher’s original half Morocco brown spine with red marbled boards. Decorative gilt spine in six compartments with raised bands, gilt lettering pieces to compartment two. Marbled endpapers. Top page edges gilt. Book Dimensions: 19 x 13 x 3.5 cm and Number of Pages: 780 including index Condition Firm and well-bound copy. Light wear to boards’ corners, and to head and foot of spine. Internally the book is in very good condition indeed. No names or inscriptions. All pages are tightly held at the gutter. Inner hinges are very good. Pages are very clean with light marking to page edges (Nice gift idea!) (Please see pictures).
