Book in good condition. Attractive pictorial cloth with wear around edges and corners, wear head and tail of spine, illustrated endpapers a bit tanned, ffe missing. Inside very clean very good, colour illustrations with speaking tissue guards, many beautiful monochrome illustrations, many folding maps in fine condition. Complete. Ex library book with only signs: some stamps at the beginning of the book, one on rear free endpaper, no other signs. A little dog eared pages on upper right corner. First pages with remnants of ancient tape, reattached. A stain between page 62 and 63-see photos as part of description. Scarce.
