GREY (1968) - GREY'S DIESEL Be@r XXL

Crafted from resin, the sculpture stands 48 centimeters tall and is unique in its kind, created using a pair of the artist's jeans that had reached the end of their life. This detail gives the sculpture an irreplaceable character and a personal story. The artist sought to give a second life to a cherished piece of clothing while recycling material that would otherwise have been wasted, causing harm to the environment. The Diesel jeans were cut into hundreds of small pieces, each frayed to give every fragment its own character and uniqueness. Details such as the front pocket, placed on the right side of the Be@r, add further character to the sculpture, which is rich in detail. Signed on a plate, the sculpture also features the original Diesel tag. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, the sculpture is shipped with appropriate packaging to ensure its safety during transport. GREY, the contemporary Monegasque artist whose creativity knows no bounds. With a childhood steeped in art and formal training at a prestigious art school, GREY's journey into the realm of artistic expression was destined from the start. For over 25 years, his art has transcended conventional mediums, creating exquisite glass art objects and intricate jewelry adorned with precious stones and metals. However, it is his artistic evolution towards Pop Art and Neo Pop that truly sets him apart. With an informal and bold style, GREY's work pulses with energy, captivating audiences worldwide. His influence spans more than twenty-five countries. From exclusive art galleries to the private collections of the global elite, GREY's creations are celebrated for their innovation and impact. Among his accolades is the recognition as an Artist by the Directorate of Cultural Affairs of the Principality of Monaco, a testament to his unwavering dedication to art. In each of his works, GREY leaves an indelible mark, solidifying his status as an innovative force in contemporary art.
