MG B 1.8 Roadster MkI

- sinds 1997 in Nederland

De MG B: een populaire roadster zoals hij hoort te zijn: lichtgewicht, wendbaar en een genot om mee te rijden. Dit betreft een prachtig, roestvrij exemplaar die mooi is uitgevoerd in bordeauxrood met spaakwielen. Hij is geproduceerd in 1964 en het is daarmee een vroeg geproduceerd en gewild exemplaar (productie begon in 1963). De kenmerkende deurklinken van deze generatie hebben geresulteerd in de bijnaam 'lepeldeur'. 

Sinds 1995 is de auto in Nederland. In het verleden is de auto gerestaureerd waarbij ook het lakwerk opnieuw is gespoten, wat zich nog in een mooie staat begeeft. Het interieur ademt een Engelse sfeer met het klassieke dashboard en fraaie houten stuur. 

De cabrioletkap verkeert in zeer goede staat. Technisch is de auto goed onderhouden bij ''Garage de Basis'' in Leeuwarden een oldtimer specialist. In 2021 is de motor gereviseerd, zijn de remklauwen aan de voorzijde vervangen. De motorruimte en kofferruimte zien er netjes en droog uit. De passingen van de dorpels, spatborden, portieren, motorkap en het kofferdeksel zijn goed en duiden op een schadevrij verleden. 

De auto wordt compleet geleverd met het bagagerekje, windscherm, tonneau-cover, reservewiel en een Nederlandstalige verkoopbrochure waarin onder meer de techniek en rijeigenschappen van de auto beschreven worden. 

De spaakwielen staan op recente Vredestein Classic banden met ruim voldoende profiel. Deze spaakwielen waren destijds overigens - evenals de verwarming en het bagagerekje die op dit exemplaar aanwezig zijn - optioneel te bestellen. Kortom: een prachtig exemplaar van een iconische auto klaar voor de zomer om een lach op uw gezicht te toveren.

Uiteraard heeft deze MG lichte gebruikerssporen opgelopen, zie foto's.

U bent van harte welkom om deze auto in onze showroom te komen bezichtigen en eventueel een proefrit te maken voor dat u biedt.

Dit voertuig kan bekeken en afgehaald worden in Oldemarkt, Nederland.

Ook de exportdocumenten en het transport kunnen wij voor u regelen. Een verzekering voor 2 weken is ook mogelijk.
