Korean-style Nyo'izumi celadon ceramic maebyeong/meiping “plum” vase with inlaid decorations of cranes and clouds.
Created in the image of and to honour the so called “National treasure No. 68”. A National Treasure is a tangible treasure, artefact, site, or building which is recognized by the South Korean government as having exceptional artistic, cultural and historical value to the country. The original vase is on display in the ‘Gansong Art Museum’, Seoul, South-Korea.
Signed and sealed at the bottom
Measuring 8 inches in height and approximately 4.5 inches at its widest point, this piece is a fine example of traditional Korean craftsmanship.
