Fender - Number of items: 5 - Guitar tube amplifier combo - USA - 1969

This is an EXCEPTIONAL VINTAGE 1969 DRIP EDGE FENDER BANDMASTER REVERB AMP plus original Cabinet MODEL TFL 5005 D. Is was made in USA, serial number A 34366. It was bought at the 'Servaas'-store in The Hague (NL) and it has still the original protection number at the back: 5790. The amp and combo is in very good condition. It has been controlled in June 2024 by Adesign Art Support who renewed 6 eco's and some other electronics (see invoice). All works with 3 month guarantee. Everything works as it should, including the pilot lamp, controls, vibrato, reverb, etc. The replaced original parts are of course part of the combo. It is loud and it still works great! Of course the combo has some typical light bumps, dings, scuffs, marks, scratches etc, which is typical wear for an used amplifier of that age. Looking at the chassis you can see that the supply capacitors are original to the amp; which is extremely rare! The head and cabinet comes with an original Fender footswitch, leather protection-case and original cables. The Fender Bandmaster Reverb TFL5005D tube amps are an amazing value for the money--with a circuit that is nearly identical to that of a Vibrolux Reverb or Vibroverb--only in head form. The Bandmaster Reverb offers all of the features that you expect from a classic vintage Fender combo amp, with the added bonus of being able to be matched with an extra speaker of you choosing. This amp has been serviced and tested. It is fully functional and sounds great. It is from 1969, which was an early year for the CBS period of Fender products. Both channels feature volume, treble, and bass controls - and a bright switch. Channel two additionally features a midrange control, single-knob reverb, and classic Fender tremolo. Even though the Bandmaster Reverb rates at half the power of a '70s Twin Reverb, this head has plenty of volume and punch - and is unquestionably bright, though tamable. So if you are a guitar player looking for vintage Fender tone check out this awesome Fender amp and cabinet.
