Werkelijk een icoon. De Porsche 928 Coupé 4.5L V8  is een zeer exclusieve en kenmerkende auto uit de autohistorie. Deze is gebouwd in maart 1978.

De Porsche 928 uit 1978 was een sportieve Grand Tourer (GT), geproduceerd door de Duitse autofabrikant Porsche AG. De Porsche 928 had een opvallend en karakteristiek ontwerp, met een lange, gestroomlijnde carrosserie, een lage neus en een oplopende achterkant. 

Het was een 2+2 Coupé met een hatchback-achterklep en had een aerodynamisch profiel. De carrosserie van de 928 was gemaakt van staal, maar had aluminium onderdelen om het gewicht te verminderen. 

Eén van de meest opvallende kenmerken van de Porsche 928 was de plaatsing van de motor. In tegenstelling tot de meeste andere Porsche-modellen had de 928 een V8-motor voorin in plaats van de traditionele achterin gemonteerde motor. Deze Porsche 928 is voorzien van een automatische transmissie en is gekoppeld aan een achterwielaandrijving. 

De Porsche 928 werd geproduceerd van 1977 tot 1995 en wordt beschouwd als een iconische Porsche. Het was een gedurfde zet van Porsche om een ​​vooraan gemonteerde V8-motor te gebruiken en een GT-model te introduceren, en hoewel de reacties aanvankelijk gemengd waren, wordt de 928 nu gewaardeerd om zijn unieke ontwerp, prestaties en technologie

De Porsche heeft een aantal jaren droog binnen gestaan het advies is dan ook om eerst even alles na te lopen voordat u de weg op mee op gaat. De motor gaat op dit moment wel rond maar slaat nog niet aan. De motor heeft altijd fantastisch mooi gelopen en de transmissie heeft naar behoren gewerkt,

De lak is op diverse plekken verweerd door de zon, minimale roestvorming. Bodem, dorpels en chassis in redelijk tot goede conditie.
