Very Old Antique Bamboo braid wooden yoroi’bitsu 鎧櫃 (armour storage box) – also known as gusoku’bitsu 具足櫃, fitted with iron ‘pole carrying’-handles. On three sides embellished with a gold lacquer family crests. De voorkant verfraaid met een goudlakkarakter: 前 (mae). De Kanji "Mae" betekent "de eerste"; met andere woorden: "Ik, die voorrang heeft boven anderen". De andere zijden zijn versierd met een twee wapens Period: Japan – Edo period Approx. dimensions: Height 51,9 cmLength by 39,8cm by 39,8 It is in a fair restored condition the bottom base reinforced to give it strength with losses, missing hinge, decay traces of wear and losses.
