These are 6 different types of specialized Kanna.

Japanese planes, known as "鉋 kanna," are traditional woodworking tools used for smoothing and shaping wood. Unlike Western planes, Japanese planes are pulled toward the user rather than pushed away. They feature a wooden body and a blade that is set at a lower angle, allowing for precise and fine cuts.

Specialized planes are variations of the standard kanna, designed for specific woodworking tasks.
Examples include:
- Kiwari kanna : Used for cutting grooves.
- Mentori kanna : Used for chamfering edges.
- Shaku-dai kanna: A larger plane used for leveling large surfaces.

These specialized tools allow craftsmen to achieve detailed and intricate work in traditional Japanese woodworking.

Condition:
Almost is good, but some are poor, heavily used with major cracks and damages, so please see the attached photos carefully.
And also please sharpen the blade edge before use.
