Ezquerra, Carlos - 1 Original page - Strontium Dog - The Moses Incident (part 4)- Title page - 1983

Very dramatic Title page for part 4 of ‘The Moses Incident’ , written by Alan Grant, lettered by Jack Potter and drawn by Carlos Ezquerra. This was published in Prog (issue) #338 of the Science Fiction comic 2000ad on 15th October 1983. The comic, which is still being published today is still a hit, and collectors worldwide are beginning to take more note of these fantastic publications. In this very early page from the 2000ad series, Johnny Alpha is digging up the body of Moses Quest, who was shot and killed in the crossfire whilst Johnny Alpha and his sidekick, a 'norm' called Wulf, were serving a termination warrant on the wanted criminal Dobie Zitch. Johnny’s plan is to take the body off world to be brought back to life…. This is drawn onto Bristol board in a variety of pens and inks, and still has the original title pasted on, as well as the 2000 A.D. ‘Cedit Card’. The official 2000 A.D. sticker on the reverse of the page has yellowed, and some of this yellowing is visible from the front of the page. Please note that any import duties or taxes are the responsibility of the winning bidder. If multiple pieces from The Vaults of The Book Palace are won in this auction by the same bidder, only one set of shipping charges will be applied.
