Chinese porcelain deep dish –China- Kangxi period ca. 1700
On offer is a Chinese porcelain deep dish with a underglaze blue decoration of stylized peony flowers. This dish has an ochre brown glazed rim (jia mangkou) and at the back the dish is fully glazed with an brown colored glaze; called capucine or Batavia brown. Typical milky white colored porcelain, characteristic for this (Kangxi) period. Provenance: 2024 Ye Hua Chinese Art, before from a private Dutch collection from Sliedrecht in Noord Holland province. Rare, excellent condition!
Date: late Kangxi period 1662-1722 ca. 1700-1720.
Size: This deep dish measures 22,5cm across.
Condition: Excellent! No damage. No chips, no frits, no hairlines.
