He is called Gosutei(五粽亭) and uses the seals of "Ranbu 蘭畦", "Konishi Gocho 小西五長", and "Hiro Sada 広貞". From the work, it is known that it was called Hirokuni before the 4th year of Koka (1847). His confirmed drawing period was from Koka 4 to Bunkyu 3 (1863), and he drew many medium format actors. His apprentice is Hirokane Utagawa (Sadahiro Teruotei).
