Egyptian green faience ushabti figurine,depicted holding two hoes to cultivate the fields of Osiris in the afterlife. He is wearing a long wig . His almond-shaped eyes with elongated outer corners, eyebrows, mouth and ears are painted in black pigment. his hands, crossed on his chest, protrude from his mummyform shroud which covers all the body. Basket over the shoulders and two seed bags on the back. The text on the shabti, in a single inscribed column, informs us about the titles and name of the owner: The illuminated one, the Osiris, the overseer of the craftsmen, Huy, justified. | New Kingdom, 19th-20th dynasty, circa 1292-1070 B.C. Dimensions: 14,30 cm Condition Report: Earthy adhessions on the surface. Piece intact with no restorations. Excellent condition. Provenance: Spanish Antiquarian - Barcelone, Spain. Acquired in 2014. M.B. Collection. Important: Due to summer holiday season, our gallery will be closed in august so this item will be delivered in september. Notes: - The piece includes authenticity certificate. The piece is in process of obtaining Spanish Export License ( Passport for European Union). This process can take between 2 and 4 weeks. - If the piece goes outside the European Union a new export license will be requested by us, This process can take beteen 1 and 2 months. According to Spanish legislation, items sent outside the European Union are subject to export taxes and will be added to the invoice, at the buyer's expense.
