Egyptian green faience ushabti figurine,depicted holding two hoes to cultivate the fields of Osiris in the afterlife. He is wearing a long wig . His almond-shaped eyes with elongated outer corners, eyebrows, mouth and ears are painted in black pigment. his hands, crossed on his chest, protrude from his mummyform shroud which covers all the body. Basket over the shoulders and two seed bags on the back. The text on the shabti, in a single inscribed column, informs us about the titles and name of the owner: The illuminated one, the Osiris, the overseer of the craftsmen, Huy, justified. | New Kingdom, 19th-20th dynasty, circa 1292-1070 B.C.
Dimensions: 14,30 cm
Condition Report: Earthy adhessions on the surface. Piece intact with no restorations. Excellent condition.
Provenance: Spanish Antiquarian - Barcelone, Spain. Acquired in 2014. M.B. Collection.
