Wonderful slice of petrified palm root on a custom stand

Beautiful slice of a fossil palm trunk, with wonderful nuances of colour with the typical blowout. The bark is clearly visible on the outer part and the typical formation of the palm stands out in the centre. Part of the interior is geodetic crystallized. The slice is very nicely polished, making the details clearly visible.

Beautiful slice of a fossil palm trunk, with wonderful nuances of colour with the typical blowout. It is beautiful as such, but was very surprised by the weight of the item. I thought the statue was based in marble, but this one was made of plastic, the statue itself is ultra thin.
