Beautiful specimen of Gorgonocephalus from the Ligurian Sea and recovered with fishing nets at great depths. This type of animal is very difficult to preserve because once caught they use autotomy. In this way they try to free themselves by losing part of their limbs. In this ofiura some limbs are detached, but do not compromise the itegrity of the specimen. Mounted on a metal stand, this wonder of nature can be elegantly displayed in any environment. Weight: 40 g Total height on stand: 35 cm
