After studying press and communication sciences, he started his career in the bodywork family business. Following that, he opened his own modeling agency. In his spare time, he painted. From 2013, David started painting full-time. Under the name TIFKAD, he creates his own language and playfully brings serious themes to the fore. He works both figuratively and abstractly. There are characters, symbols as well as animals in his paintings. Typical are the meandering figures that support his work. Another recurring theme is the messages hidden in mirror writing in the canvases. He paints mainly with acrul paint and acrylic markers on canvas. Several times he exhibited at Art Nocturne in Knokke.
