Also included in this lot is the official limited set of 13 unique noteletes that were sold separately to this bottling and feature art by Sir Peter Blake created exclusively for The Macallan.

Presented in early 2021 the Anecdotes of Ages is a tribute to some of the colourful characters from The Macallan’s past and present and the result of Speyside's probably finest distillery once again collaborating with British artist Sir Peter Blake. As the designer of The Beatles iconic Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band vinyl record sleeve, he is best known in the whisky world for labelling twelve bottles of the Macallan 1926: currently the most expensive single malt in history.

This bottle was released to celebrate the distilleries Anecdotes of Ages Collection and was available via ballot in 2021. The unique presentation box houses the bottle, a certificate and artwork printed on a scroll.

It has been stored dim, dry and upright, never openend or damaged. Original gift packaging of both the bottle and the notelets included.
