A very nice copy of this First Edition. A lovely example of late Art Nouveau / Early Art Deco design. 100 pp + 21 plates inset (including several original lithographs and Offset prints by the presses of the Brussels School of Lithography) An attempt at Belgian cultural recovery after the First World War. Very well illustrated. The publication is also the last issue (n° 47 - 59) of the first series of publications from the Book Museum which began in 1907. Embossed soft covers. Clean and tidy with a slight fading to the edges. Old tape reinforcement to the top edge of the spine (see photos). Internally in excellent condition throughout. Now held in a clear plastic protective covering. Beautiful examples of illustration.
