Sokar, on the other hand, was a god of the underworld and craftsmen, depicted as a falcon-headed figure or a mummified man with a falcon's head. Osiris, perhaps one of the most significant gods, represented the afterlife, resurrection, and fertility. He was usually shown as a mummified king wearing the Atef crown with ostrich feathers. The Ptah-Sokar-Osiris figure symbolizes the journey of the deceased through death and rebirth, embodying the cycle of life and regeneration in Egyptian beliefs. It reflects the idea of continuity beyond death and was often found in funerary contexts like tomb decorations or as amulets buried with the dead to ensure their safe passage to the afterlife.
