A short shift gear stick mechanism for the legendary Getrag 265 gearbox from the 1970-80s.
It's in excellent condition, as new and complete.

NOTE: what we offer for sale is just the short shift mechanism, not the complete gearbox (see included pictures of the seperate parts).
We've added the pictures with the complete gearbox to show you the set-up and assembling of the short shift.

These types of short shift were installed for a more direct, shorter, and faster way to shift. It worked really well; shifting would no longer feel like you were stirring in a pan of soup.

The famous Getrag 265 gear box was installed in the 1970-80s by BMW and Alpina in various types of BMW's, like:
E24-6 series, E23-7 series, E12-5 series, E28-5 series, M3 E30,.....

So of course you can install this short shift in these models by BMW and Alpina.
