The label is almost dropped. Cork is in perfect state, and also covered with wax to have a better conservation.
Preparation: Remains for 18 months in large wooden vats. Between 72 and 84 months (depending on the vintage) in 225-liter American oak barrels. Filtered with fresh egg whites. A minimum of 10 years in the bottle before being sold. Special sealing to ensure greater longevity and hygiene of the cap. Marketed in the mid-80s.
It cannot be guaranteed that the wine is in perfect condition for comsumption, as it has already passed its optimum consumption time. These wines have more value unopened than uncorked.
The other bottle is a Palacio de Arganza, from 1948, from Villafranca del Bierzo (Bierzo DOC)
I will be sending the bottles fully protected and insured
