A beautiful Lapis lazuli sphere, with beautiful golden and white veins of Pyrite and Calcite. The ‘swell’ motion created by these inclusions and the lighter veins of Lapis lazuli give the impression of observing the planet Earth from space, where the play of light created by Pyrite resembles the lightning, the Calcite the clouds and the Lapis lazuli the oceans. A very high-quality specimen, with an intense blue colour. Lapis lazuli is a stone used for making jewellery or ornaments, widely used by the Egyptian people to beautify the Pharaoh's tombs, pyramids or accessories.
