Een art-deco vaas (picque-fleurs) van kleurrijk zogeheten spatter-glass

De picque-fleurs is in zeer goede staat (zie foto's)

De glasfabriek Franz Welz werd in 1728 in Bohemen opgericht en was tot ongeveer de jaren dertig in productie. De fabriek werd ook wel Antonienhütte genoemd. Franz Welz-glas staat vooral bekend om een breed scala aan kleurrijk artistiek glaswerk dat in de jaren twintig en dertig werd geproduceerd. Het was toen vooral spatter- en tangoglas dat werd gemaakt.
