STORIA/PANORAMICA
La Jaguar XJ (nome in codice XJ40) è un'autovettura prodotta dalla casa automobilistica britannica Jaguar dal ottobre 1986 al ottobre 1994, quarta generazione della serie XJ. E' considerata l'ultima vera Jaguar perchè fu l'ultima su cui collaborò Sir William Lyons. Questo esemplare è stato consegnato nuovo in Italia e ha percorso soltanto 83000km. 

ESTERNO
La carrozzeria è nel colore originale British Racing Green ed ha appena avuto una lucidatura, presenta alcune imperfezioni dovute al normale utilizzo (vedi foto) tuttavia si presenta lucida, solidissima e ben presentabile. Un detailing è stato appena completato, incluso a tutte le cromature, i cerchi e i dettagli. L'auto è sempre stata conservata in garage dal precedente proprietario che la utilizzava solo per spostamenti di rappresentanza come seconda auto.

INTERNO
Gl interni "Connolly" in vera pelle color biscotto sono originali e bellissimi, il cruscotto è perfetto e l'auto è un vero salotto inglese con tutti gli allestimenti in legno e le cromature in perfette condizioni. 

MECCANICA
Meccanicamente l'auto è sempre stata mantenuta in funzione, il vano motore è in condizioni ottime ed un trattamento al ghiaccio secco è stato appena completato. Il controllo tecnico è stato appena superato a Dicembre 2023 senza difetti riscontrati

Nota: Impianto A/C da ricaricare ma funzionante

Il sottoscocca è generalmente solido (vedi foto) come ci si aspetta da una vettura con pochissimi chilometri e una conservazione attenta


Queste Jaguar cosi solide e originali con bassi chilometri sono ormai molto rare, la versione 3.2 con cambio manuale ed Europea è davvero difficile da reperire in queste condizioni.
