Nash 971 Convertible Coupe de 1932 en muy buen estado.  

-Muy  exclusiva carrocería descapotable original.
-Historial conocido.

HISTORIAL
Esta bonita unidad fue vendida originalmente en España, y fue matriculada en la provincia de Cáceres. Aún conserva su matrícula original de esa provincia. Fue descubierto allí en estado original en los años 70 por el especialista Francisco Pueche. Posteriormente fue vendido al coleccionista Ramón Magriñá, que llevó a cabo una restauración total en los años 80. Una vez restaurado participó con él en varios rallyes, incluyendo el Barcelona-Moscú de 1989. De su participación en este rallye el coche conserva una curiosa pegatina en ruso en uno de sus cristales. Posteriormente fue adquirido por su anterior propietario, que tras realizar algunas mejoras mecánicas lo ha utilizado durante años en eventos por toda España y también en Europa. Por ejemplo, recientemente participó en un rallye en Italia. El coche está matriculado como Vehículo Histórico en España.

MECÁNICA
La potente mecánica de 8 cilindros en línea funciona muy bien. Arranca fácilmente y muestra toda su potencia. El carburador original ha sido recientemente ajustado. Con el coche se incluyen otros dos carburadores iguales de recambio. Se compró en USA un radiador de aceite original que faltaba en el coche, que ahora está instalado en su sitio. La instalación eléctrica fue cambiada a 12 voltios para mayor facilidad de arranque e iluminación, y también se instaló un alternador. También lleva instalada una bomba de gasolina eléctrica.

El cambio tiene dispositivo de "rueda libre" que funciona perfectamente. Los frenos funcionan sorprendentemente bien. Dada la complicación para cambiar los neumáticos de las llantas originales con aro flexible, mandó fabricar un set de ruedas nuevas sin aro, que son las que monta ahora el coche. Las llantas originales también se incluyen con el coche. El coche tiene la ITV válida y está listo para ser utilizado.

CARROCERÍA
La bonita carrocería original descapotable es obra del carrocero Seaman. Está pintado en una atractiva combinación de tonos verdes. Está muy bien conservado en general, pero dado que fue restaurado hace unos 40 años el coche tiene pátina y algunos defectos menores que se detallan en las fotografías.

INTERIOR
Está tapizado en cuero de color marrón, y muestra bastante pátina, hasta el punto de que podría ser el original. Todos los instrumentos funcionan a excepción del medidor de gasolina original, que fue sustituido por uno moderno. La capota de color claro combina a la perfección con los colores verdes de la carrocería. Se incluye un cubre capota para utilizarse cuando esta está plegada.
