STORIA/PANORAMICA
La De Tomaso Longchamp è una vettura costruita artigianalmente dalla casa automobilistica italiana De Tomaso tra il 1973 ed il 1988 in soli 401 esemplari di cui 395 coupè. E' stata prodotta in due serie, con motore Ford 351 V8 con elaborazione a 296 cv. Questo esemplare è stato acquistato nel 2003 dal Italia da un collezionista Tedesco, il precedente proprietario italiano possedeva l'auto dal 1991. Dopo alcuni anni, nel 2006, ha cominciato ad acquistare i ricambi per il restauro completo che è cominciato nel 2012 e terminato nel 2022.

ESTERNO
L'auto è stata completamente restaurata, portata a metallo nudo, e poi ricostruita in ogni singolo particolare e riverniciata completamente per un periodo di oltre 10 anni (vedi foto). Si presenta nel colore "Giallo Modena 502" ed un trattamento di lucidatura e detailing è stato appena completato. Un test spessimetro non ha evidenziato incidenti.

INTERNO
L'interno in pelle è completamente nuovo: sedili, cruscotto, pannelli e moquette sono stati restaurati da tappezzeria specializzata in restauro auto d'epoca e si presentano in ottime condizioni. Un trattamento di pulizia e nutrimento è stato appena completato.

MECCANICA
il motore è stato completamente smontato e ricostruito, (vedi fatture) e funziona bene. Anche il sistema di alimentazione è stato revisionato, inoltre tutte le sospensioni sono state restaurate con nuove boccole e tiranti
nuovi. Anche l'aria condizionata è stata restaurata ed è funzionante.

Raramente una De Tomaso Longchamp con un costoso restauro completo e documentato e con storia conosciuta è offerta in vendita, queste auto esotiche con un potente motore V8 e carrozzeria italiana GHIA sono un ottimo investimento
