Here we have a simply stunning 18th/early 19th century oil on canvas by a School of Joseph Mallord William Turner
1775 - 1851 . A very talented artist who exhibited at the Royal Academy and whose work is displayed in museums in the UK. Turner is perhaps the best-loved English Romantic artist. He became known as 'the painter of light', because of his increasing interest in brilliant colours as the main constituent in his landscapes and seascapes. His works include water colours, oils and engravings. This painting features boats at the rivers edge unload their wares late at night as the sun goes down. A typical subject of Turner. A most delightful oil painting that would grace any wall.

In fairly good condition for its age with some touching up and comes framed. Please view the photographs as part of the description. Note that the frame is a gift, no compensation given if damaged in transit.
