Légende concernant l'origine des Jacqueline : "La légende attribue la maternité de ces charmantes céramiques à Jacqueline de Bavière, une puissante comtesse du XVe siècle. Cette dernière, après avoir perdu son pouvoir et son influence, aurait été incarcérée par un rival. Et c'est pour s'occuper en captivité qu'elle se serait mise à créer ces amusants pichets.".
