Bellissimo Vaso di Ceramica di Vizzini - Catania ( Regno di Sicilia ) del XIX Secolo.

Una bellissimo vaso molto pesante e finemente decorato facilmente riconducibile alla manifattura del centro di Vizzini e databile 1800.
La lavorazione delle ceramiche è da sempre attività di grande rilievo in Sicilia, regno d’eccellenza per questa manifattura.
Le sue origini sono molto antiche. Secondo gli esperti, i ceramisti arabi, sin dall’827, a seguito della conquista musulmana dell’isola, si sarebbero stabiliti qui e avrebbero dato un forte impulso all’arte ceramica, con i procedimenti tecnici usati in Oriente.

In ottime condizioni per il periodo e finemente decorato.
Le condizioni e le ossidazioni presenti all’interno lo rendono un pezzo unico è molto interessante.
