Very impressive rare Roman/Celtic lead Mystery cult plaque, with depictions in 3 rows. 

This plaque is showing the Celtic Goddess Epona, protector of horses and a goddess of fertility. Epona was one of the few Celtic divinities worshipped in Rome itself and was widespread in the Roman Empire between the first and third century AD.

Layer one (top): serpents. 
Layer two: In the centre goddess Epona is standing facing between Danubian riders. Both riders are trampling down two captives.
Layer three: kantharos, candelabrum with oil lamp, a sacrifice scene, rooster. 

All within a roped border with fish above. 

Condition: good condition, signs of wear consistent with age and use. See images.
