The brass mount versions were a special run to go with the brass metal parts of the mahogany "Globica" studio stand camera from 1990-1991.

Lens condition- 
Then lens itself is in close to new condition with the exception of the aperture ring functionality. I took the lens to a specialist repair shop in Munich, but was told to leave it as it is for fear of damaging it. When the lens is completely opened and wearing gloves, the aperture blades move exactly as they should so there are no problems there, however, the outside ring to adjust the aperture blades does not move at all. I use the lens a few times open at f4.5 and approximately f8 and had great results.

The glass has no scratches, no fungus and no haze. There are minimal flecks of dust but mostly removable as each element can be accessed.

The lens comes with the original box and lens caps. The rear cap is cracked
