Hereby offered is a Technics RS-263USD Cassette Deck from 1975 in excellent condition with slight user traces. See pictures to form your own opinion of the cosmetic condition.

The main features of the Technics RS-263USD are:

1. Two heads
2. Mechanical 3 digit tape counter with memory stop
3. Manual tape type selection and capable of handling normal and chrome tapes
4. Belt-driven single-capstan transport
5. The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies.

Typical of this deck is the 70's top loading layout with the cassette compartment located on the left side of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well. Beautiful analogue level meters with needle VU reading with peak indicator for easy adjustment of optimum recording level. 

To make live recordings this deck has 2 microphone inputs to connect microphones with a jack connector. For undisturbed listening a jack connector for a pair of stereo headphones is supplied. Connection to other audio components for playback & recording from the source can be achieved by an RCA cable.
This vintage cassette deck is tested and in working condition but we recommend changing the belts & capstan ruler due to the age as well as for optimum results for many years to come.
