De 323i was destijds het topmodel van BMW’s eerste ‘’echte’’ 3-serie, de E21. Met zijn 2.3 liter 6-cilindermotor en brandstofinjectie kwam het vermogen op 143PK en een 0-100km/u tijd van 8.7 seconden. Zeer indrukwekkende cijfers voor een kleine, compacte sedan. Dit gecombineerd met het stuurgedrag en het vrij sportieve onderstel maakte van de 323i een heerlijke rijders-auto! Er was van deze generatie 3-serie geen M3 maar de 323i wordt gezien als voorloper van de M3.

Hier te zien, is een BMW E21 323i uit 1982, die is uitgevoerd in Alpina-styling. Dit geldt voor zowel het exterieur als het interieur. De carrosseriekleur betreft een nette 'BMW-graphit-metallic'. Het interieur bestaat uit een zwarte en donkergrijze combinatie van leer en stof, samen met wit lederen hemelbekleding. Zowel de lak als het interieur verkeert in een nette staat. De voorstoelen betreffen Recaro sportstoelen, wat destijds een gewilde en dure optie was. Hiernaast is hij ook nog in bezit van een dakraam. Elektrische ramen & spiegels zijn aanwezig.

De Alpina accenten zijn op vele plekken te vinden. Al is het de houten schakelpook, de teller instrumenten, logo's en de striping rondom de auto. Onderaan deze zeldzame 323i zijn er 15 inch multi-spaak Rial velgen te vinden. De BMW is in bezit van een Zender bodykit. Deze bestaat uit een andere voorspoiler, sideskirts, achterbumper en achterspoiler. Allemaal dure opties destijds!

De origineel Nederlands geleverde BMW komt uit het bezit van de 2e eigenaar. Hij koesterde deze auto lang in zijn collectie. In 2018 zijn er kosten noch moeite gespaard aan het onderhoud, er is namelijk meer dan €10.000,- aan besteed. Hierbij is onder andere het gehele injectie systeem vervangen, remklauwen gereviseerd, hoofdremcilinder vervangen etc. De factuur van alle werkzaamheden zijn aanwezig. De auto is recent voorzien van een nieuwe APK en klaar voor nieuwe avonturen!

Onder de motorkap bevindt zich de eerder benoemde 2.3 liter in-lijn-zescilinder. Deze is gekoppeld aan een handgeschakelde 5-versnellingsbak. Het motorblok loopt goed en schakelt soepel. Achterin de kofferbak bevindt zich een reservewiel.

Qua documentatie is er een handleiding aanwezig, samen met diverse facturen en een APK-keuringsbewijs.

Een unieke klassieker met nog veel kilometers in petto!

Het kan zijn dat deze auto lichte gebruikssporen heeft opgelopen door zijn leeftijd, zie foto's. Daarnaast heeft de auto op sommige plaatsen roestvorming, onder andere aan de kofferbakrand en de achterzijde.
