STORIA/PANORAMICA
Jaguar E-Type Serie 1 4,2 del 1967 (matching numbers), una delle ultime due posti FHC Serie 1 costruite prima dell'introduzione della serie 1-1/2. 

Acquistata dall'attuale proprietario nel 2018 in Florida. Era gia in condizioni da concorso e da allora custodita in un luogo asciutto, coperta da un telo da interni e usata con parsimonia. 

Il restauro, commissionato dal precedente proprietario (che l'ha tenuta per oltre due decenni) e durato tre anni, è stato completato negli Stati Uniti nel 2005 con un elevato livello di cura, dettaglio e precisione da un rinomato specialista di auto inglesi con una tecnica che gli americani descrivono col termine “rotisserie”.  

Il motore sei cilindri di 4.2 litri, cambio a quattro velocità, trasmissione, freni sospensioni, ammortizzatori, scarico, e altri sistemi meccanici sono stati tutti revisionati secondo le specifiche originali.  

Gli interni e la tappezzeria sono stati restaurati usando uno dei colori originali.

Tutti i componenti cromati o in acciaio sono stati restaurati o sostituiti. Il cruscotto, volante e la strumentazione sono stati restaurati.

L’auto dispone di un rarissimo climatizzatore d'epoca “Miami“ autorizzato dalla Jaguar acquistato nuovo durante il restauro. Cerchi cromati originali ricondizionati e pneumatici radiali con pochissimi chilometri. 

Dopo il restauro, l’auto ha vinto il primo posto nei concorsi del Jaguar Club of North America del 2006, 2007 e 2009 con un punteggio di 9,99.

ESTERNO
Carrozzeria ottima senza incidenti e senza ruggine.
Ottima vernice in British Racing Green, uno dei colori originali anche se non quello con il quale è uscita dalla fabbrica - vedi certificato nelle fotografie: Jaguar Heritage Trust.
Tutti i componenti cromati o in acciaio inossidabile e i badge nuovi o restaurati.
Cerchi cromati originali restaurati e pneumatici radiali Pirelli.

INTERNO
Interni splendidi in pelle color biscotto, uno dei colori originali anche se non non quello con il quale è uscita dalla fabbrica - vedi certificato nelle fotografie: Jaguar Heritage Trust.
Cruscotto, pannelli porta, moquette e cielo (imperiale) restaurati.
Volante e strumentazione ripristinati.
Nuovo stereo AM/FM retrò con connessioni bluetooth e USB + microfono viva voce; altoparlanti JBL.

Le superfici esterne e interne sono state sverniciate e restaurate. 
Dopo aver riapplicato il fondo, la carrozzeria è stata riverniciata in British Racing Green con una finitura che, dopo quasi 20 anni, è ancora in perfette condizioni.  

MECCANICA
Oltre a eseguire la manutenzione periodica, non ha avuto bisogno di alcun intervento. 
L'attuale proprietario ha completato alcuni lunghi viaggi (anche oltre 1000 Km) senza alcun inconveniente. Dal restauro, si stima che l’auto abbia percorso non più di 5000 Km.

Motore sei cilindri da 4,2 litri restaurato insieme ai tre carburatori S.U.
Cambio manuale a quattro velocità restaurato.
Climatizzatore d'epoca progettato per questo modello negli USA con il benestare della Jaguar.
