Actief luidsprekersysteem uit de Studio Monitor-serie.

De Studio Monitor-serie maakt gebruik van de Motional Feedback (MFB)-methode om een ​​onvervormde basweergave te bereiken.

De RH541 maakt gebruik van een elektronisch crossoverfilter om het signaal van de ingebouwde versterker te verdelen in hoge- en lage frequentiebereiken. Het hogefrequentiebereik drijft de tweeter aan, terwijl het lagefrequentiebereik een MFB-lus gebruikt die bestaat uit een woofer en een comparator (golfvormvergelijker) om vervormingsvrije weergave mogelijk te maken.

In de MFB detecteert het piëzo-elektrische element (PXE), gemonteerd op de bovenkant van het kegelpapier van de woofer, de versnelling van het kegelpapier en zet deze om in een spanning. Deze spanning en het ingangssignaal worden vergeleken met een comparator, waardoor het mogelijk wordt de weergegeven geluidsgolf exact hetzelfde te maken als de oorspronkelijke golfvorm en de vervormingscomponent met kracht te beheersen.

Het lage bereik heeft een conuswoofer van 18 cm en het hoge bereik een koepeltweeter van 2,5 cm.

Het is uitgerust met een selectieschakelaar voor de ingangsgevoeligheid die zowel de voorversterkeruitgang als de eindversterkeruitgang ondersteunt.

Uitgerust met automatisch aan/uit-mechanisme.
Deze functie wordt automatisch ingeschakeld bij een invoer van 1,5 mv of meer, wordt automatisch uitgeschakeld als er gedurende 2 minuten of langer geen signaal is, en de werkingsstatus wordt aangegeven door het indicatielampje.

De behuizing is gemaakt van hout met een zwarte essen afwerking.

Uitgerust met een stroomschakelaar.

Omdat voor elk kanaal een parallelle aansluiting mogelijk is, is het inschakelen voor meervoudig gebruik mogelijk.
